Wow. I just hung up the phone with Alex, the 23-year-old guitarist from the Greek metal band Wastefall. He and I talked for about 50 minutes, covering the widest range of topics in any interview yet — from philosophy to Greek culture and history to social activism to the story behind each song on Wastefall’s soon-to-be-released album Self Exile. As our interview drew to a close, he said, “This has been the best interview ever…really great dialogue. I forgot it was an interview. Thank you.”
